Vajra School (simplified: 金刚门, traditional: 金剛門, pinyin: Jīngāng Mén, jyutping: gam1 gong1 mun4), also known as the Western Regions Diamond Gate (西域少林金刚门), was a martial arts school in the Western Regions founded by Huogong Toutuo, a renegade from the Shaolin Order. Its disciples served Zhao Min and the Prince of Ruyang’s household, and were responsible for crippling Yu Daiyan and Yin Liting using the Great Strength Diamond Finger (大力金刚指).
Structure
The Vajra School was founded by Huogong Toutuo after he left Shaolin. Its disciples included A Er, A San, Gang Xiang, and Mo He Ba Si. A Er and A San served as bodyguards under Zhao Min. Gang Xiang disguised himself as the Shaolin monk Kong Xiang to infiltrate Wudang Mountain and assassinate Zhang Sanfeng. Mo He Ba Si fought in the擂臺比武 between Shaolin and the Diamond Gate.
Martial arts
The school specialised in Shaolin-derived external martial arts, including the Great Strength Diamond Finger (大力金刚指), which could sever tendons and cripple victims. Gang Xiang used the Diamond Prajna Palm (金刚般若掌) in his assassination attempt on Zhang Sanfeng. Yu Daiyan and Yin Liting were both crippled by disciples using the Great Strength Diamond Finger.
