Yuanzhen (simplified: 圆真, traditional: 圓真, pinyin: Yuánzhēn, jyutping: jyun4 zan1), meaning “Round Truth,” was the dharma name used by Cheng Kun (成昆), the main antagonist of The Heavenly Sword and the Dragon Sabre, when he infiltrated the Shaolin Order as a spy. Under this false identity, Cheng Kun posed as a Buddhist monk while secretly carrying out his schemes to destroy the Ming Order and seek revenge.
Yuanzhen and Cheng Kun are the same person—the novel refers to him by both names depending on context. For detailed information about this character, please see the article on Cheng Kun.
