Taiji Fist (simplified: 太极拳, traditional: 太極拳, pinyin: Tàijí Quán, jyutping: taai3 gik6 kyun4) was created by Zhang Sanfeng based on the Nine Yang Power he learned from Jueyuan. It emphasises using softness to overcome hardness, circular movements, and the integration of yin and yang. Yu Lianzhou was the first among the Seven Xias to master it completely. Notable moves include Grasping the Bird’s Tail (揽雀尾式) and Golden Rooster Standing Alone (金鸡独立式).
