Mi Hengye (simplified: 米横野, traditional: 米橫野, pinyin: Mǐ Héngyě, jyutping: mai5 waang4 je5) was a hall master (香主) of the Changle Guild, known as Mi Xiangzhu (米香主). He was a close associate of Bei Haishi and participated in various guild activities.

Biography

Service in the Changle Guild

Mi Hengye served as a hall master under Bei Haishi’s leadership. He was one of the guild members recruited by Bei Haishi to support his plot against Situ Heng.

Encounter with Xie Yanke

When Bei Haishi led a group of guild members to Motian Cliff to retrieve Shi Zhongyu, Mi Hengye was among them. However, Xie Yanke easily captured Mi Hengye, though Xie Yanke’s internal energy was nearly exhausted at the time.

Mi Hengye was injured by Xie Yanke’s internal energy but was rescued by Bei Haishi and taken back to the guild headquarters to recover. He was deeply frustrated by his defeat, as his reputation had been damaged by being captured so easily.
