Liuyun Shi

Liuyun Shi

Liuyun Shi (simplified: 流云使, traditional: 流雲使, pinyin: Liúyún Shǐ, jyutping: lau4 wan4 si3) was one of the Wind-Cloud-Moon Three Messengers (风云月三使) of the Persian Ming Order. He was the tallest of the three messengers and had a curly beard and blue eyes.

Biography

Appearance

Liuyun Shi was the tallest of the three messengers and had distinctive features: a curly beard (虬髯) and blue eyes (碧眼), giving him a foreign appearance.

Mission to Snake Island

Liuyun Shi, along with Miaofeng Shi and Huiyue Shi, arrived at Snake Island carrying the Sacred Fire Commands. They immediately ordered Xie Xun to execute Zishan Longwang (Purple Robe Dragon King, Daiqisi), demonstrating the authority of the Persian Ming Order’s headquarters.

Battle with Zhang Wuji

During the battle, Liuyun Shi fought against Zhang Wuji, Zhao Min, and Xie Xun. In one exchange, Zhao Min used the Heavenly Sword to attack and cut off part of Liuyun Shi’s curly beard on his left cheek.

Sacred Fire Commands

The three messengers carried six Sacred Fire Commands—two-foot-long black iron tokens. Three of them were engraved with Persian martial arts techniques created by Shanzhong Laoren Huoshan (山中老人霍山), while the other three were engraved with Ming Order regulations. In battle, these commands could withstand the Dragon Sabre.

Power transition

When Xiao Zhao became the leader of the Persian Ming Order to save her mother, Liuyun Shi, as a messenger of the headquarters, witnessed the power transition, ensuring the orthodox succession of religious authority.

Martial arts

Liuyun Shi was skilled in the Sacred Fire Command Divine Skill, which featured strange and unpredictable techniques including hip strikes, aerial somersaults, and other unusual movements that exceeded the flexibility of Central Plains martial arts.
