The Eighteen Bends of Taishan (simplified: 泰山十八盘, traditional: 泰山十八盤, pinyin: Tàishān Shíbā Pán, jyutping: taai3 saan1 sap6 baat3 pun4) was the Taishan School’s signature sword technique in Laughing in the Wind.
Overview
The technique was named after the eighteen-bend path (十八盘) on Mount Taishan, the Eastern Great Mountain. The Taishan School, led by Tianmen, used this swordplay as its core martial art. The school faced internal conflict when Yujizi and others plotted against Tianmen at the Five Mountains Sword Meet.
