Biography
Alliance with Qinghai Three Swords
Yi Sanniang and Du Baidang had a longstanding feud with the Qinghai Three Swords—Ma Fatong, Shao He, and Shao Yan—over a minor incident. When the Qinghai Three Swords pursued them to the foot of Mount Shaolin, they fought and discovered that both sides had devised techniques to counter Xie Xun’s Seven-Injury Fist. Du and Yi sought revenge for their son; the Qinghai Three Swords sought the Dragon Sabre. The five formed an alliance to attack Shaolin together. The Qinghai Three Swords went first and were killed by Shaolin monks.
Aid to Zhang Wuji
Zhang Wuji and Zhao Min stayed at the home of Du Baidang and Yi Sanniang while searching for Xie Xun. Yi Sanniang arranged for Zhang Wuji to infiltrate Shaolin Temple. After Zhang Wuji failed to break the Diamond Vajra Array and descended the mountain, he returned with Zhao Min to find that Zhou Zhiruo had killed Du Baidang and Yi Sanniang. Zhang Wuji and Zhao Min buried the couple in gratitude for their help.
