Mount Heng (North) (simplified: 恒山, traditional: 恆山, pinyin: Héngshān, jyutping: hang4 saan1) is the Northern Great Mountain of China’s Five Sacred Mountains, located in Shanxi Province. It is the base of the Northern Hengshan School in Laughing in the Wind.

Overview

Mount Heng (North) is the northernmost of the Five Sacred Mountains. The Northern Hengshan School, a Buddhist nunnery known for its elegant swordplay, had its headquarters there, including the White Cloud Nunnery (白云庵) where Linghu Chong later became leader.
