Unity Guardian King (simplified: 齐心宝树王, traditional: 齊心寶樹王, pinyin: Qíxīn Bǎoshùwáng, jyutping: cai4 sam1 bou2 syu6 wong4) was the eleventh of the Twelve Precious Tree Kings of the Persian Ming Order, an expert in scriptures and doctrines who fought Zhang Wuji during the Spirit Snake Island confrontation.
Biography
Spirit Snake Island confrontation
The Unity Guardian King was among the eleven Precious Tree Kings who arrived at Spirit Snake Island aboard Persian ships to oversee the capture of Daiqisi.1 During the confrontation, he fought alongside the Transparent Guardian King against Zhang Wuji.2
The Unity Guardian King and Transparent Guardian King demonstrated coordinated combat techniques that were similar to those of the Three Messengers, though somewhat inferior in execution.3 Their fighting style involved tight collaboration, with each guardian king complementing the other’s movements as if they were a single person with four arms and four legs.4 However, their techniques were based on incomplete knowledge of the Great Shift of Heaven and Earth, resulting in strange variations that occasionally appeared random but were difficult to defend against.5
Zhang Wuji initially struggled against their coordinated attacks but gradually gained the upper hand after twenty to thirty exchanges.6 When the Three Messengers attempted to rescue the Equality Guardian King, the Unity Guardian King found himself fighting alongside them against Zhang Wuji, but their coordination was not as effective when paired with different partners.7 They ultimately retreated to their own ship.8
Personality & traits
As one of the Precious Tree Kings, the Unity Guardian King was primarily an expert in scriptures and doctrines rather than martial arts.9 His position within the Persian Ming Order hierarchy placed him in a role similar to that of the Four Guardian Kings of the Central Earth Ming Order.10
Martial arts abilities
Unlike the Three Messengers, the Precious Tree Kings were primarily experts in religious law and doctrine rather than martial arts.11 However, the Unity Guardian King demonstrated martial arts abilities when fighting alongside the Transparent Guardian King, using coordinated techniques that resembled a simplified version of the Three Messengers’ style.12 Their techniques were based on shallow knowledge of the Great Shift of Heaven and Earth, combined with martial arts theories from the Sacred Fire Tokens, resulting in unique fighting methods.13

Behind the scenes
The Unity Guardian King and Transparent Guardian King serve as supporting antagonists in the Spirit Snake Island sequence, demonstrating that the Persian martial arts techniques extended beyond just the Three Messengers. Their coordinated combat style shows how the incomplete knowledge of the Great Shift of Heaven and Earth could be developed into unique fighting methods.
