Shi Dengda (simplified: 史登达, traditional: 史登達, pinyin: Shǐ Dēngdá, jyutping: si2 dang1 daat6), known as “Thousand-zhang Pine” (千丈松), was a disciple of Zuo Lengchan of the Songshan School. He was known for his role in various schemes to advance Songshan’s interests and was a trusted subordinate of Zuo Lengchan.

Biography

Shi Dengda was trained by Zuo Lengchan and became one of his trusted disciples. He was deeply involved in Zuo Lengchan’s schemes to merge the Five Mountains Sword Alliance under Songshan’s control.

He participated in various missions and operations, including the disruption of Liu Zhengfeng’s Golden Basin Handwashing ceremony, where Songshan forces attempted to prevent Liu Zhengfeng from retiring and to punish him for his friendship with Qu Yang of the Sun Moon Order.

Shi Dengda was also involved in the Five Mountains Alliance merger ceremony, where he worked to ensure Songshan’s dominance. He had a junior disciple brother, Wan Daping, who assisted him in various tasks.
