Shan Boshan (simplified: 单伯山, traditional: 單伯山, pinyin: Shàn Bóshān) is the eldest son of Shan Zheng the Iron-faced Judge and elder brother to Shan Xiaoshan, Shan Shushan, and Shan Jishan. His name “Boshan” means “Elder Mountain,” indicating his position as the eldest son in the Shan Clan of Mount Tai. He was one of the Shan Clan Five Tigers and played a significant role in the family’s confrontation with Qiao Feng.

Early life
As the eldest son of the Iron-Faced Judge, Shan Boshan was raised in a family dedicated to upholding justice and moral principles. His father Shan Zheng was known for his strict adherence to righteousness and his ability to judge right from wrong, traits that influenced all his sons.
Confrontation with Qiao Feng
During the events involving Qiao Feng and the Beggars’ Guild, Shan Boshan found himself caught in a dangerous situation when his family became involved in the political machinations surrounding Qiao Feng’s leadership crisis. The confrontation escalated when Qiao Feng attempted to protect Azhu from harm.
Tragic death
In a pivotal moment during the confrontation, when Shan Zheng ordered the killing of Azhu to seek revenge, Shan Boshan responded to his father’s command and raised his blade against her. However, Qiao Feng, in his desperation to save , threw his circular shield with tremendous force. The shield’s momentum was so powerful that it cut through both Shan Boshan and his weapon, killing him instantly and even continuing to sever a pillar in the hall.
