Optimised typography
Thank you to all who gave email feedback about the fonts. In this round of updates, I’ve optimised the typography and updated the forum. We’re also starting the #SaveTheTranslations movement.
Optimised typography
The experiment with different humanistic san serif fonts has ended with the current look. It is more readable both on desktop and mobile.
For those of you who are new, WuxiaSociety strives to provide the best reading experience online, so we try to ensure the text is optimised for reading on a mobile screen and also on desktop computers.
Forum update
The forum has been updated as well. Everything appears to be in order but if you notice any issues, don’t hesitate to let us know.
The changes are all in the back end. The only noticeable change is the addition of icons for the topic tags. I would have used a sword to represent Jin Yong but the closest I could find is a crown.
#SaveTheTanslations
We discussed about the troubles over on the SPCNET forum. Long story short, there’s a good chance that the SPCNET forum would die due to years of no maintenance.
The conclusion is to back up the hard work of translators and host them here unless the translators say otherwise. We will be categorising these as adopted translations, since they are not translations by WuxiaSociety.
If you have any of the resources or want to help out, hop over to the forum and contribute.
