Mei Wenxin held Mei Fanggu’s body, and when her sleeve was pulled up, it revealed a Shougongsha (守宫砂) mark on Mei Fanggu’s arm, proving that Mei Fanggu had remained a virgin throughout her life, despite having raised Shi Potian as her son.
Together with Ding Busi, Mei Wenxin buried Mei Fanggu at Bear Ear Mountain and decided to let go of their past grievances, finding closure after decades of pain and separation.
