Biography
Training under Miejue
Jinghui was a disciple of Miejue, the third leader of the Emei Order, and rose to become the second-ranked among the Jing-generation disciples. Her position placed her directly below Jingxuan, the first-ranked Jing-generation disciple, giving her significant authority and responsibility within the Order’s hierarchy.
As one of the senior Jing-generation disciples, Jinghui played an important role in supporting the Order’s leadership and managing the other disciples. Her martial arts abilities and loyalty made her a trusted member of the Order’s core leadership group.
The Six Major Factions’ attack on Bright Peak
When the Emei Order participated in the Six Major Factions’ expedition to Bright Peak, Jinghui accompanied Miejue and her fellow disciples. As one of the senior Jing-generation disciples, she likely played a supporting role in organising and leading the Order’s forces during the campaign.
During the attack, Jinghui would have worked alongside Jingxuan and other senior disciples to coordinate the Order’s operations and maintain discipline among the disciples. Her position as second-ranked among the Jing-generation disciples made her an important figure in the Order’s command structure.
Supporting Zhou Zhiruo’s leadership
After Miejue’s death and Zhou Zhiruo’s succession as the fourth leader of the Emei Order, Jinghui supported the new leader. As a senior disciple, her support was important for maintaining stability within the Order during the transition of power.
Jinghui’s support for Zhou Zhiruo, along with that of other senior disciples like Jingxuan, helped ensure that the Order remained unified and effective under its new leadership.
Personality & traits
As the second-ranked Jing-generation disciple, Jinghui would have possessed the qualities necessary for leadership: martial arts proficiency, loyalty to the Order, and the ability to work effectively with others. Her position required both competence and reliability, suggesting that she was a capable and trusted disciple.

Behind the scenes
Jinghui represents the importance of capable senior disciples who support leadership and maintain organisational effectiveness. While characters like Jingxuan served as de facto commanders, Jinghui and other senior disciples provided essential support and coordination that enabled the Order to function effectively.
Her character demonstrates that successful organisations require multiple levels of capable leadership, not just a single leader. Senior disciples like Jinghui serve as the backbone of the organisation, providing stability and continuity even as leadership changes.
Jinghui’s support for Zhou Zhiruo after Miejue’s death reflects the importance of organisational loyalty and the willingness to support new leadership even when personal relationships might be complex. Her role as second-ranked disciple shows how hierarchical structures can provide both order and flexibility within martial arts organisations.
