Di Xiu (simplified: 狄修, traditional: 狄修, pinyin: Dí Xiū, jyutping: dik6 sau1) was a disciple of Zuo Lengchan of the Songshan School. He was known for his role in the massacre of Liu Zhengfeng’s family during the Golden Basin Handwashing ceremony.
Biography
Di Xiu was trained by Zuo Lengchan and became a trusted disciple of the Songshan School. He was deeply involved in Zuo Lengchan’s schemes to merge the Five Mountains Sword Alliance under Songshan’s control.
Golden Basin Handwashing ceremony
Di Xiu participated in the disruption of Liu Zhengfeng’s Golden Basin Handwashing ceremony, where Songshan forces, led by Fei Bin, attempted to prevent Liu Zhengfeng from retiring and to punish him for his friendship with Qu Yang of the Sun Moon Order.
During the massacre, Di Xiu was responsible for killing Madam Liu, Liu Zhengfeng’s wife, and Young Master Liu, Liu Zhengfeng’s eldest son, demonstrating the ruthlessness of the Songshan forces and their willingness to kill women and children to achieve their objectives.
