Liang Fa

Liang Fa (simplified: 梁发, traditional: 梁發, pinyin: Liáng Fā, jyutping: loeng4 faat3) was the third disciple of Yue Buqun of the Huashan School. He was known for his loyalty to his master and sect, and met a tragic end when he was killed by Zuo Lengchan’s men during an ambush.

Biography

Liang Fa was a loyal disciple of the Huashan School, trained under Yue Buqun. He was the third disciple in seniority, following Linghu Chong and Lao Denuo.

During an ambush by masked men (who were actually Zuo Lengchan’s subordinates), Liang Fa and the other Huashan disciples were captured. When Lin Pingzhi refused to betray his master and declared his loyalty to the Huashan School, Liang Fa courageously shouted, “Well said! Our Huashan School…” in support of Lin Pingzhi’s declaration. Before he could finish his sentence, one of the masked men cut off his head with a single stroke of his blade.

Liang Fa’s death was particularly brutal and demonstrated the ruthlessness of Zuo Lengchan’s forces. His loyalty to his sect, even in the face of death, highlighted the strong bonds within the Huashan School.
