Guo Yanzhi (simplified: 过彦之, traditional: 過彥之, pinyin: Guò Yànzhī) the Soul-chasing Whip was the senior disciple of the Funiu School. under Master Ke Baisui. His uncle was Cui Baiquan the Golden Abacus, who lived in seclusion in Dali.

Biography

Master’s Death and Revenge Quest

Guo Yanzhi’s master, Ke Baisui, was killed by his own family’s ultimate technique Heavenly Spirit Thousand Shatters. Believing the killer used their own technique against them, Guo Yanzhi set out to seek revenge.

Journey to Dali

Wearing mourning clothes and disguising his true purpose, Guo Yanzhi traveled to Dali to seek his uncle Cui Baiquan. He met Prince Duan Zhengchun, who recognized his martial arts background despite his careful attempts to conceal it.

Final Battle and Death

Guo Yanzhi accompanied his uncle to Yanziwu, where he was defeated by Jiumozhi in a single move. His whip was rendered useless. He ultimately died at Taihu Ferry while protecting his uncle in a battle against Murong Fu.
