It is. That's why a good translation is hard to come by. But when translated well, it is a great read and has an accurate enough portrayal of the original meaning and style. That's why not everyone is a good translator and why you see so many horrid translations littered across the web.
My choice is Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre simply because of Zhao Min.
